...Yeah. It's kinda weird IMO, considering the BL forums has never had anything like it.

Uhh, nope. I haven't seen any. But if there's HUGE ads everywhere, BL forums will look like crap.

When did this start?

Since when do viruses affect webpages I view besides slowing me down? Also, nav says he doesn't have it either.

Boink, around half a week ago.

It's adware. It's usually easy to uninstall. But yeah it's not the website it's you.

Hm, even though you said there's probably not a virus, at least check. I don't know much about this, but do it.

Thanks.

But I just thought it was me, because it doesn't happen anywhere else.

Got a tut? Because if it is some kind of ad virus, it's not going to let me uninstall it.

Also, I have MS essentials and Malwarebytes on this PC, neither of them detected a virus.

Its malware, I got something like this awhile ago.
It only targeted this site.
Idk how to uninstall it because k got a new comp.
Sorry.

For me I had it as a Chrome extension. If you've installed any "shady" software lately, I suggest uninstalling noooow. Also, the adware should be in your programs list (the add/uninstall software page in control panel), and should be uninstallable. If not then I can't help you, other than saying scan with malwarebytes. :\

Control Panel > Add or Remove programs

remove anything with "Coupon" or something 'suspicious' and run a full scan on something like avira or avast again

and check your browser's addons/plugins

My mother thought malwarebytes wasn't legit and decided to "install" McAfee AGAIN, and MS security essentials.

Thats when this started.

MSSE is actually good. Norton not so much. Might I suggest BitDefender?

Never implied that I had Norton.

I have Mcafee because of my mother, though. and now it's forgetin' using up the CP- Oh wait, I uninstalled it minutes after she installed it. Nvm.

But she did something to it when she got MSSE. I'm serious.

Gotta go guys. 6 hour roadtrip.
