I am kinda getting sick of "OMG YOU NEED A LAYOUT/PICTURE/(insertsomethingelse)".  Honestly, maybe he just wanted to make an average clan.  I find it incredibly annoying when people sometimes make clans and then are hounded for not having this or that.  All you need is the name, requirments of joining, and black list.  Anything else is optional.

Yes, but having a layout makes the clan look organized, and more sophisticated. So having a good, clean cut layout can really make it stand out among the other hundred clans on the forums.
