Author Topic: How do I get over a breakup?  (Read 1896 times)

My girlfriend just broke up with me. She was my first serious girlfriend, and my first kiss. She says that she feels like were hardly dating at all and that we hardly talk. Well, we hung out for 5 hours yesterday and she told me that she hated herself and I told her that she was perfect the way you where, and we do text and thats how she broke up with me. Over text. She was the only girl in my school that i liked and loved, and now she just walked out of my life.

so, to all those guys/gals out there that know how to get over this, how?

also, our 4 month anniversary was Thursday.

also, if you're gonna say "HUURRR BAD STUFF HAPPENS TELL THE FORUMS HUUURRRRRR" please shut the forget up and get a carrot drilled up your ass.

EDIT: wow guys, thank you for all of your help. I really appreciative it. On a side note, her friends seem to be mad at her because I was the only guy that they liked as a boyfriend for her.

well
you just
get over it? I guess
I've never really had anyone break up with me
maybe you should talk to a friend about it

Uh, forget about it. That is all I can say.

Aw Im sorry :c
Just know that if its meant to be, everything will work out, and until then just keep your chin up and do your best to move on.
I hope everything works out for you c:

I've tried that, all they said was sorry.

A good first step would be to delete every text conversation you had with her and to avoid talking to her in person.

don't think about her, but when you do think about of all the bad things about her

for future reference: this is why you don't have teenage relationships.

you really do not want to deal with this crap in the middle of high-school. trust me.

Well what I would do is I would ea-... I mean stay good friends with her and keep a healthy friend based relationship ^-^!

this helps a lot untill you get over her.

also the fastest way to get over someone is to hate them for what they did but that will always have reprocussions.

feep is too mellow to hate and just has eternal sadness when it comes to girls and love ;-;

thanks for reminding me, done.

yeah. I've tried channeling my sorrow into anger, but i realized that will be a bad idea, so I just started thinkin about all the bad things.

yeah. I know that now.

99.9% of the reason of a breakup is being with someone in the first place.

.yeah. I know that now.
i knew you did, i was mostly saying for other people.

i would suggest to you that you don't get another girlfriend for a while just so you don't have to deal with being a half of a whole

genious.

I dont think you should force yourself to hate her, I dont have a lot of knowledge on this subject but if I was a girl that might make me sad if my ex just started ignoring me, maybe she still wants to be friends and you can get back together in the future.
