I am talking about posting how you are a brony and how it's cool or whatever, posting pony pictures outside of the thread, generally annoying others with pony related things.

The whole 'furries' situation, I don't see an issue.
It's not like they go around posting furry pictures and whatnot.
Even if they did, it's not as bad as posting pony pictures.
Ephialtes actually locks threads that are generally uneeded and can be posted in the pony thread.
I don't see him locking threads having to do with furry related things.

Well that is up to the person..

-Some people are forgeted up and start "yiffing" which is were 2 furries have love in fursuits...
-Then there are people who wear the suits just to wear them (the suit is of their animal)
-Some people would wear a collar like an animal would when they are a pet to someone. (I do myself, don't judge. If you don't get onto emos for it then don't get on me for it)

I'm sure there are other ways.
