Forgive me if I make a mistaken here and there, I just woke up.
The Blockland forums has turned into a cesspool for furries and ponies.
Let's start here. A newbie forumer of one month (assuming he's not an alt) is saying the forums "has turned" into something it has been for longer than a year. It hasn't turned into it since your arrival, they have existed here longer than you have.
The large percent of the forum is neither. The combination of both furries and pony-fans doesn't even make half the forum.
The ponies have said before that they would keep all pony related material to the megathread, but have ceased to do even that.
Only a few ever said that and any user who posted that they would quit posting such things outside the megathread and continued to do so can be directly pointed and yelled at.
There was never any agreement to keeping it to one thread, this is a mindset in place. (Probably a good one, but I'm not going into that) Most of them quietly (as in didn't post about it) decided to just stop it. For the most part, there are very few "leaks" that I've seen yet people make it sound like it's far more substantial then that (and if you wish to present any real overwhelming sources that would help). Some of the users who have posted extra topics/things (like this
one) don't even associate with off-topic megathread.
Another thing: We can't control these people. If I (for example) was the proclaimed leader of these fans, I couldn't tell any of them what they can and cannot do. If I could, and they would follow, I could guarantee you wouldn't be having these problems. (but again, you must realize they would have to actually follow my every command, which is not possible)
Now, the furries seem to keep to themselves... but there is a overwhelming amount of them.
Whether if you're new or not, you don't seem to know that long ago there were many (MANY) furry topics. All about posting furries, talking about furries, this that and the other. If I recall correctly, Badspot even banned some of these topics or users.
At
this point in time, it has died down to the point where we mostly only see them because of avatars or they've said they were furries at one point or another. There are very few furry-related posts these days, but when they do occur it either dies out or brings in others to post about the subject.
In the end, there is nothing wrong with either group existing on the forum. There are no overwhelming numbers of either, either. Yes, one or both annoy some users to an extent (whether minor or extreme), but really they've done nothing wrong. When they do, they get banned. Removing them wouldn't really do much.
Your post seems to be an overreaction, an attempt to "look cool"/"get in good" with other users, and an uneducated bias (perhaps even a) bait thread. Of course, most of that accusation is just a guess.
