Author Topic: MC texture pack crash ogm  (Read 977 times)

So I'm playing on my friend's modded survival and I want to load one of my ol' TP's with mod textures. So I do, and minecraft crashes at loading. Again. And again. And again.
I've tried everything - trying multiple combinations of textures, multiple texture packs, some MC starting parameters, etc. The thing is, it used to work! Help?

Force update?
The only thing I'm getting out of that is "I broke something."

I use magiclauncher, so my jar is always clean.

turn off magic launcher
launch the Minecraft Launcher
settings
force update
loving run it like that
tell me what happens

Minecraft crashes because of the MOD TEXTURES, stupid. If I run MC clean, they won't be used at all, so of course it'll work. Thing is, this worked before, and should work.

I don't even understand what you mean by "mod" textures.

I have mods that add blocks.
I have texture packs that I added textures that REPLACE the mods' textures.
That crashes MC, though it shouldn't, and it once worked.

how about you stop using the loving mod that breaks your jar?

I can run all the mods fine, idiot. It's just that when I try to use HD textures for them... bang.

then don't use the HD textures

This thread is about those textures. Why did you think I'd post a thread about making HD textures work if I didn't want HD textures to work?

don't call me an idiot, you're the one too stupid to figure out the simple solution of not doing the thing that's breaking your .jar.
