title says it all

Raspberry Pi is $25, still looking up different RCA cables.

Would that work on a regular old TV?

Edit: Also a place that sells Raspberry Pi's in US and is NOT sold out. :(

RCA cable is way, way cheaper than hdmi to vga.

EDIT: I thought you had to do HDMI to VGA through an expensive box but I see some $3 cables. I don't know how well these work.

Thanks, anyway sellers of Raspberry Pi?

I don't know. I'm getting mine shipped from England. Still looking for a good case. I'm leaning towards either buying adafruit's or just making my own and paying to have it printed on a 3d printer.

Why?
Ohhhhh the things I could do.

But instead of anything interesting I'll give it to my Dad.  He desperately needs an upgrade.

why what?
I was asking why he was buying one. Not the most impressive computing machine but I guess the customization and programming is there which I just figured out by typing this so kind of like talking to myself. I'm confused.

Edit:Oh.
I know you edited that out, but for $25 it's really impressive.  It runs 1080p.

Still, would this work on a standard TV?

no, that's backwards
for plugging into a TV you're going to want the r/w ends to be male
