It was made to hold out the creeper, tbh. Not to completely hold it out, that'd be cheating, but to sorta hold it out, That's why it's like a tree, to make the creeper take more time to get up.
Anyway, I'd like to make a much bigger version of these, with help, it's an idea for the community build thread in general.
