Making up your own stories to try to piece things together is just plain stupid. Not only this, but the bible is entirely false when it comes to the big bang, as if you followed the bible, you would believe the big bang only occurred 6000 - 10000 years ago. For reference, the EARTH is 4.5 billion years old, let alone the Universe.

If one were to take the word literally, then yes, it was made 6000 years ago. However, i believe the bible is metaphorical. And note that i said BELIEVE. Not CLAIM. I know i may or may not be correct.

In that context I can see a difference.
Literally means you actually think the world started with adam and eve, seven days creation, etc. etc.
Seriously means you are actually intrested in what it has to say,  to interpert it rather than to make fun of it.

Arnold, even if you do not believe in something, try not to enforce what you believe/ don't believe on others, no matter how ridiculous it is. Especially religion, let people believe what they want to believe. However, K9 is getting annoying with religious arguments

I don't see what makes it right to bash anyone for anything, race, religion, hair doo. I'm a 'Christian', but I think the bible is full of stuff. I've read more than half of it, it's like everything you do is a sin, sorry for being human. how can you be a christian and not believe God's word? you cant just make your own rules. the commandments show us just how far we fall short of perfection, which is why we need a savior.
as for the athiests, i'll say it again.
