It doesnt matter how many people dont believe in god. he may still very well exist. (which in my opinion he does) and if he does exist well than whos gonna get the last laugh? me or you? and on the account tha tim wrong there is really no harm done. my believing in god is the only rational thing to do. If he does exist do you think i wanna go to hell? if he doesnt well. like i said it wouldnt matter.
God could exist, but you have yet to prove his existence. Therefore its illogical to say with an absolute "god exists".
Yeah, if you were right then I would be wrong.
This kind of argument proves nothing. You are just trying to change up the stakes in hope of somehow changing the odds. You still have yet to prove his existence, or any of your friends either.
What you are arguing is called Pascal's Wager. That you might as well believe in god because if your wrong you burn in hell.
Im not even going to argue back. There are just to many fallacies with that kind of thought. The only thing I will tell you is that you do loose a lot if you are wrong. Time, sometimes money, and an overall sense of correctness. Besides that, your argument is only useful in a world with 2 people, Christians and atheists. However, you have to address the other infinite amount of gods and beliefs as well. This makes the chances of being wrong infinitely small.
