Author Topic: No players can enter my server  (Read 2159 times)

this is a pretty big sign that something was done wrong

have you checked and re-checked and re-checked everything to make sure you have port forwarded and set up your static ip correctly?
Yes i have, dont know what i am doing wrong, i followed the instructions on the one made by baddy, now i think my router is just trolling me.

Get looking, you need a new one in this case.
A dodgy router just blocks it all and there isn't much one can do about it as far as I know.

BUY a router?
PS: Before i could host, now nobody can because of this "no ping" bullstuff.

try doing a factory reset on your router then re-doing all the stuff.

if it still doesn't work, i'd say your router is fdfs

If you could host before than do what otto said and reset.
If not then time to find a new router.

Try to remove any port forward attempts, after that got to your router setting and enable UPnP if nothing else works after trying this again look on the back of your router and check if you see a pinhole or button that says reset, hold it for 5 seconds or 10 and all your routers default setting will be re-set, after retry the UPnP, if you can't try disabling UPnP in your Blockland options and try port forwarding again.

It will help if you tell me your internet provider and router model.

on my router this just restarts the router, doesn't actually reset any settings

Some of them do this, on some its a pin hole you have to stick a paperclip into.

ISP: BellSouth

Model: Belkin F9K1001 v1

I used to have BellSouth as an ISP and I remember having issues hosting with them, but I was probably just doing it wrong.

Most of them are like that.
