this was in response to how nato is currently surrounding russia with anti-icbm missile bases.
MAD essentially dosnt exist anymore in regards to russia, and they are pissed about it.

My Engineering teacher wass all pro-America. We had to do a writeup of our benches and attach a picture of us holding it, so I photoshopped me over an American Flag that had the caption "AMERICA YEAH!" and he showed it to the whole class and pinned it to the board.

Yeah but the 60's is when nuclear war was much more likely to break down. Kennedy almost got us in trouble with Chruschev on multiple counts.

Come the 70's, and things started to simmer down between Reagen and Gorbechev. Hell, late 70's Gorbechev was the one who eventually brought the Soviet Union to its knees with policy reforms within the Kremlin.

I think if we'd have shared the Atomic bomb with the Soviets instead of hiding it from them in WW2 we would have never been at odds.
