Dat peak rate.
I've only hit a peak of around 26 MB/s when downloading like 10 games at once, and I have a 5.5 MB/s download rate normally with Steam.

uugh

why can't i find any good tutorials on like
anything i need to know
http://www.sourcefilmmaker.com/post.php?id=8065&p=1

This post contains videos on how to do EVERYTHING to at least a basic, tutorial level.  Motion, importing, lighting, etc. are all covered in this.  You can learn how to do everything through those videos ffs, there's no excuse for asking for help with this tool for gods sake.

I have a request for making a Source version of an anime show's opening. The animations for the characters should be relatively straightforward and simple - The real problem will be backgrounds, scenery, and visual effects. And I'd really love if the highlighted lyrics were there like in the original, and maybe even the intro credits. I just think it'd be hilarious if this was remade in Source.

I take it either no one will respond to this post or no one will be up to the task, but I'll ask anyway, please. :)

forget yes i got it

Why the hell did I get beta access ? I never asked for it.
Oh well free stuff !

forget yes i got it

It went public already. Anybody who signed up during the beta period got it, and anybody who didn't get it can download it off the Steam Store now.

Alright guys this appears to be the way to fix "An error occurred while installing Source Filmmaker (Connection timeout)"

Start to install SFM and when it starts loading and SFM says it's installing in your library click cancel in the loading bars window.
Right click SFM and uninstall local content. (It should still say it's installing if you did the above step correctly.)
Start the installer again and wait.

You will need to download around 5.5GB's if you have TF2 already downloaded. (I think it's 10GB if you don't.)
Word of warning: This may not work the first time. I had to do it two to three times before it worked.
(Please note: Even though it doesn't work all of the time this appears to be the only solution that has worked for people so try it)

Also, does anybody know how I can change the character weapons? For example, a demoman with a sword
Please someone tell me how

Please someone tell me how

You have to use the Lock system, which is a tad complicated, but worth the time to master. This video goes more in depth on the use of Locks.

Goddammit why are the viewport and timeline in different tab things audaudfafrg

So i redid my MLD picture on the computer, the movie image sequence didn't export the DOF and the jittery anti-aliasing made it look bad, so i stuck with no anti-aliasing

And i also rendered a poster image which didn't render the vignette effect

I can not wait for the full version of the SFM so i can use any game engine and hopefully will have improved a lot by then, it's annoying trying to do certain things with my character that his glasses refuse to do

Also, i am currently working on a video, but i'm not sure how long until it's done, i still need to do animating, lip syncing, and camera changes
