Computer doesn't boot up - well its not visible to me.

This morning, I woke up. Walked into the basement pressed the power button and sat down on the couch. I watch the TV screen I use as a monitor It just comes up with a blue glow. I have no idea what could have made this happen, as far as I'm concerned no lightining has our electricity. What is the issue? Any help would be appreciated :(

You don't open your computer, watch it boot up and pat its RAM a little before using your computer?
