My dog just died.

Thanks to all of you who are actually showing emotion. My summer has been crappy to begin with, this just made it a whole lot worse. Because recently when my life has been giving me tons of stuff, I would go outside and Angel would come up to me and lick my hand and sit next to me as i pet her. God damn I'm going to miss that dog.

No doubt, death is a tragic and terrible thing, but I find this level of grief to be incredibly selfish. Your dog was in agony, why would you want to prolong it's suffering? Could you not find comfort in the fact that your dog is now resting peacefully after living a good life?

Of course i do. Its the fact that i lost a Childhood friend. Im happy she's out of pain, but it still hurts to holy hell.

I've lost two pets in my life, it really sucks. Sometimes it seems losing a pet is harder then losing a family member since you see your pet every single day. Both times I've lost pets it was devastating. It doesn't seem like it but it will get better.
