lol cat123's a terrible scripter
Thats teh joek hueheuheuehue

Also, he steals scripts too :P

Keep practicing on C# for awhile and then move onto something like Java.

How long is a while?

How long is a while?
C# is just as hard as java lmao, if anything java's easier
it really depends on what you want to do with scripting.

personaly i'd say torque script
easy to test stuff while you play BL

hahaha you're both idiots, if you know nothing about scripting, do a really easy language to get a gist of it, then move on to harder languages
wanna know what the easiest scripting is?
None, none at all.
It depends on the person, but tompson, i know you want to create an interactive research game.
try each language that interests you, whichever one is the least painless you start with.
(spoiler alert: C++ was painless for me to learn and lua was next to impossible for me to learn without experience)

C++ and the C languages and VB.Net etc are not scripting languages they are programming languages.

Scripting languages are like Torque and Lua

It depends on the person, but tompson, i know you want to create an interactive research game.

forget, don't tell my youtube subscribers, this is my 5 sub special

Lua or TorqueScript.

Do Love2D :D

I never understood Torquescript's weird way of scripting, such as its informal coding like "Has that bullet hit that brick? Let's pretend it has and carry on" and other similar bullstuff.

I started with TorqueScript and so should everyone else!

I started with TorqueScript and so should everyone else!

that is the most terrible idea I have heard in 2012 so far

I started scripting in Torque, and no it is not the worst idea ever.

I think torque uses logic unlike most languages, that gives you a kick start.

Plus once you've got the hang of torque script you can do anything.
