Indeed, however he does have a point, albeit the fact that it was said in a really really harsh way. You can't cater to everybody, and if he did take requests, he likely would not have time to sleep.

TotalBiscuit is completely right about what he said but he went about saying it completely wrong.

Putting on a facade to seem charismatic towards your viewers is good business. Even if he did lie and say that he would consider doing the game, it would have been a much more proper response. He was kind of a richard towards his fanbase and does seem to have taken advantage of his ego.

It's like going to a restaurant and having your waiter being a total douchebag. Would you tip him? forget no.

Also I do believe public opinion is important as well. Even though it may not be a big factor on what content you should produce, it does provide healthy feedback to improve your videos.

You guys don't complain when you see Badspot make insulting remarks towards people here.  I don't get it.  It's only human to do that.

Celebrities, not just internet ones on YouTube like TotalBiscuit but Hollywood/etc. too, occasionally have these fits, and everyone flips over it and acts like the celeb just pledged allegiance to Riddler.

For a taste of their feelings try hosting a server with a large amount of people.  Minecraft, Blockland, whatever.  I can guarantee you that everyone is going to start whining and crying at some point and you will want to just ban them all in rage.
