Author Topic: Odd jobs this summer.  (Read 855 times)

So I have a few odd jobs I'm doing this summer. I'm working for a lady from my church doing lawn work or, like today, help setting up a swimming pool. I get $8 an hour. This week I've made $76 working for her. I'm also working for this guy on his farm. I picked blueberries a couple days now clocking in about 7 1/2 hours. I don't know what I'm getting paid per hour for this job but so far looks like I'll be making some good money this summer, then when fall swings around I'll be able to get a real job.

I just babysit the kids on my street :I

I'm working Monday too and hopefully Tuesday.

Dividing my money into 4 things
1) Saving
2) Battlefield Bad Company 2
3) Assassin's Creed 3
4) A barebones PC kit

I work in an elementary school as a custodial assistant. I move desks, chairs, filing cabinets, furniture, etc. for 5 hours a day Monday thru Friday. I get 8 bucks an hour. It sucks, but I need the cash.

I have a stuffty job..
- The Toilet Paper

I sometimes help do handyman work, Flooring, Carpet, Siding, Roofing, etc.

I just mow my yard and my grandma's yard. Though during school I get paid to work the sound in the auditorium.

I show airplanes where to park and fuel them. Along with the minor stuff such as tugging them to the ramp and cleaning the windshields. I have to wear heavy pants and 2 shirts with a vest in the heat and cold and rain

Sounds like what my dad gets to do out in afghanistan
