Author Topic: I Tried Shoprite's Shop-At-Home  (Read 237 times)

I'm sure some of you that are in the north east heard of their shop-at-home. Yesterday, I decided to give it a shot. I made them work for my order, at a cost of $10 for them to pick out my food I thought it better be worth it.

I spent about $90 on drinks and food. I got pasta, two steaks that I made them custom cut to half-inch thick, and 20 of one gallon waters. I estimated the weight of all the water would be about 166 pounds, I was going to get 30 but I figured that would be a bit much.

166 pounds of water came to $21, pretty cheap IMO! That will last me about 3 months if it's only me drinking it.
Then I got snacks such as poptarts, and all.

I gave them a time frame of when I could pick up the food because it costs extra to have it delivered. I live five minutes away from the store, and they were waiting when I got there. Overall It's a good service for if you don't want to spend hours in the store looking for the stuff you need, but you can save that extra $10 if you shop yourself.
