The only option is to make a new account and ask Valve VERY nicely to ignore the DRM and transfer your games. Or ask them VERY nicely to change your name.
You're wrong again. (If you're talking about the URL.)
Go to your profile by clicking your avatar in steam, click "Edit my profile", then look down the list for "Custom URL:" then change it.
Now you can't change your login but you can change your profile URL, there is no other way to see the login though.
