Belongs in Modification Help.
Ok, thanks for telling me I will move it there. Do you have anything I can use by the chance though?

you need a graphics manipulation program that supports transparency. Nothing else.

Paint.NET
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Fireworks
Painting Tool SAI
GIMP

What size must the face be?

What size must the face be?
I think it's 75 by 75, but what you should do is go into your addons folder, copy Face_default, paste it into another folder and then extract whatever face you want, and just simply edit it.

Thought it was 256x256?

Your .zip must be named with "Face_Name", Name being the name of your face.

Inside the .zip you have the 256x256 size face you want ingame, with a .txt named description and a folder called thumbs.

The description.txt file will have the description of your face pack. This is where your name and a brief description of the pack goes.

In the thumbs folder goes a copy of your face named the same as the 256x256 one, just in a 64x64 size. This is the image that appears when selecting your face in the avatar customizer.

When you have all this, put it in your Add-ons folder and it should load up.
If you are unsure of that to do, look/edit a copy of a pre-made facepack.

You can also have the image size 512x512 if you want to make it more detailed

1. Open an image editing software of your choice. I suggest paint.net.
2. Create a new image file with that software. Please note: The face MUST be this size: 256x256 pixels.
3. Draw the face. Save it as whatever name.
4. Now, the packaging. Create a new .zip file and name it "Face_Whatever.zip" (No ")
(Replace whatever with the name of the face. REMEMBER: Do NOT use spaces use underscores, which are these: _)
5. Make a new folder inside the zip file. Name it "thumbs" without the ", and no uppercase letters.
6. Now, drag your new image file into the zip and copy it and paste it into the "thumbs" folder.
7. Now, create a new .txt file with notepad. Inside, write this, and replace the text where it says to do so.
Code: [Select]
Title: Title goes here
Author: Your Blockland name here
(Some description here, without the ().)
8. Close it, drag it into your add-ons folder, and you are done! Congrats, you made a face!

Sorry, forgot to say to save the description.txt.
