dont eat so much food in your room and leave food crumbs or wrappers laying around. ants usually come from one hole in your wall  or somewhere. locate that hole and spray it with Raid. then get rid of all the other ants by spraying them with Raid. you might need to spray it once every week if they come back, but it usually works.

Sounds like you have food crumbs all over your room. You should vacuum your room. If its wooden or tiled you should find the source of the ants and wash that area. It will destroy the chem trail that they follow and leave them lost.

Update: After a chemical attack I assume the scouts are dead.  I sprayed the entrance to my room in hope that will defend the front lines.
