Author Topic: Blockland Icon on Windows Bar (Glitch)  (Read 1391 times)

There has been a problem with Blockland, either all of the versions of Windows or just windows 7.

When I load Blockland and the launcher comes up, I see the icon on the windows bar

However, after the launcher goes away and Blockland loads up, I get this image instead

The strange thing is that if I right click on Blockland and click "Pin to taskbar" the icon comes back.

Does anyone else have this problem or am I the only one?

I think there was some kind of big poopfest about this in a development topic at one point.

I have this problem but I really don't care

the blockland launcher is pinned
the blockland launcher starts blockland.exe, so the image isnt the B

Everything works fine, its just that darn image. I think it has something to do with Windows or maybe from V20.

Problem solved.

Agreed.

I get this too.

Don't we all?

Complainers :cookieMonster:

I feel that it lowers down Blockland, or can give haters another thing to hate about it

"THERE ISNT EVEN AN ICON TO THE PROGRAM" or some stuff like that.

o_o Ouch...

It's because Blockland goes unresponsive for a couple seconds while loading, which makes the icon switch.

You're all wrong.

The issue is is that Blockland opens up a command line window along with the game proper. That command line just has the default program icon. (The command line window is just another version of the console accessable through ~.)

They really need to get rid of it IMO because it's just unsightly, it makes Blockland look like a hacked-together program rather than a professional game they charge $20 for.
