I'm not a drama person. I avoid this stuffhole as much as I possible can. Good lord you people are angry! I am not.
I am just utterly baffled by this guy and I wanted to share a piece of my mind. He had an idea for a neat little game like most of us have had.
He posted a thread about it asking people to help him out a bit. (After raging he blanked OP) A perfectly fine thing to do. Most games need more than one person working on them.
I personally liked his idea. A generic FPS with extremely simple blocky graphics (Way less than Blockland, more than Minecraft) and no fancy stuff. Back to basics gameplay. I read the thread and I honestly liked his models. I really did like the art style a lot because it fits well into what I'm doing anyways. So I decided to help him out by making a few models. I have enough free time to share with others anyway. Especially during the summer.
He actually asked me to send some of these models over but he raged before I could.
Today he PM'd me this. I guess he over reacted because of puberty or something.
If you are so idiotic as to think I would use your models in a game you continually insulted and put down you're loving insane. I never once said you could make a core aspect of my game. You have nothing to do with the creation other than making not-so-fan art. If you dare try and join the master server of my game I will permanently ban your IP from each and every game server hosted. You seem to think that making models that I never said I would use makes you the new creator of this game, and that is not true in any aspect. Fell free to make a game with those models, because I have no intention of letting you or anyone else make a model for my game without my permission as a core aspect, you will be banned. Don't think you'd care anyway. I don't have the skill to make the game.
And it confused me. Let's count my insults.

He made the op with nothing but a couple of models and a few ideas. So far he apparently didn't even have his models in the engine yet. In my opinion if you are actually planning on creating a game yourself you should post at least a few proof-of-concept type screenshots. Even if it's just really basic stuff. - This guy probably has nothing but a couple of models.

I guess he took this as an insult too even though I was stating a fact. I've yet to see a project born here take off and get done. The thread had been inactive for a while

What on earth is he talking about? True, he never said he would use the models I made but I sure enjoyed creating them. As I stated earlier I have a stuffload of free time because I have no summer job. I'm usually 10-12 hours per day on the computer and modeling is kinda my thing. And I honestly liked the art style.
I think this is my first drama. So you crazy drama people, did I do something wrong?
