Blender(Now Milkshape) Help

I am new to blender, and i'm trying to work on making this for blockland:




Though the program is giving me some troubles, are there any tutorials out there that would help me make something like this?

BTW, its called the Ares V Rocket.

I reconsidered, i want to make the Saturn V rocket, but there arn't any tutroials on rockets out there. :/
