I changed my name a long time ago to what it should be (Corbière) and it just showed my name as Corbire.

Lots of the time your name doesn't change in RTBConnect.

OR you could, you know, you the damn character map that comes with Windows.

Getting a name with these characters helps with handicaps that randomly votekick - they'll have a slightly harder time writing your name.
