And I'm not sure, but I seriously hope people go for it. I figured since I'm in a pretty densely populated area the number of blocklanders would also be bigger. Seems it's more popular on the west coast though

Huh. We should definitely get the word out about this then; and if that's the case then maybe Maryland or even DC is a good idea? It'll make it easier for players who live farther west to get there

But yeah if we can get people interested in this it's definitely something I can see doing

Of course if we actually set up a Blocko-Con, we need money to rent a place (or hold it in a basement), time to invite some of the community, the charisma to get people to come, a date that cannot change, and we would likely be obligated to get the developing team on board or nobody would show up.  And if they did come, everyone would crowd around Badspot asking random questions about blockland's future and telling him to fire kompressor.

I was thinking about stuff like that earlier and I think the most logical place would be to host it at like, a restaurant or something. An unchanging date would make sense, and if it were going to happen this year I'd say either near the end of summer (if we get off our asses and set this stuff up quick) or during winter break; because I can't see a lot of people coming durning school. Not so sure about the developing staff because...
A: They'd probably never come, and...
B: I saw this more of a player-to-player socialization gathering thing.

And yeah that's totally what would happen if Badspot came lol.
