Hahah yeah that photo in the OP made me laugh. The top cannon of a tank detached in the middle of nowhere and he is just sitting in it aiming it around lolol.
If I was to give any advice, having dabbled in Blockland machinima more than a few times, I'd say you need to make the movie as visually appealing as possible with a clever and original script. This might sound like a no-brainer, but people have done war movies to death in Blockland and most of the time they do an unimpressive job.
The military / war style movie in Blockland has been conquered by BEE with their Away at War series. You don't need to better their visuals, but if you can create a solid script you can potentially put out a better movie than them. I feel the second installation of Away At War, while stunning, was confused in a web of bad jokes and clashing drama.
