You must be pretty thick because the code is fine but the look isn't and thats why this topic was created because I need someone to create the look/design for me and for clients.

The code is 3 buttons and some text fields. A dead gorilla could make a website this simple.

Coming up with any design at all is not hard. It is simple code. Dreamweaver does all of those coding languages, HTML, CSS, php, JavaScript, etc. You are begging and saying you will pay people to do something you could easily do yourself.

You are a tool.

DW even writes the HTML code in XML, using auto-complete features on all your tags, making it simple and much neater. It automatically knows where and what tags to properly close with either </tag> or <tag  / >.

If you honestly think Dreamweaver is a simple GUI creator, you are sadly mistaken.

dreamweaver is awesome.

i dont see why all you "website design professionals" hate it so much.
in fact all real  professionals do use these sorts of tools.

its got the cleanest ftp tools then most all programs. plus you can test java and flash elements position and if they work right, as you build the site. instead of just uploading files to the site and having to adjust the hard way.

and there is nothing wrong with having WYSIWYG on the side. unless every site you make is the exact same, you have no real idea how your script looks until you save the file and open it in a browser to test view it.
its easier to just click over quick to view what you made so far. there are so many elements on a site that you have to check 100 times to adjust.

no one is saying you have to make the site IN the wysiwyg view. no self respecting person would do that, but its a tool.

I do use a piece of software but it only shows me a preview of the code. Which is what I need.

Lol so much incorrect information in this thread. I work fulltime in the web design industry and no one uses Dreamweaver. Designing isn't just chucking boxes on a page in Dreamweaver, if you think that you're a terrible designer. There's a reason why, professionally, design and development is separated.
