Author Topic: router settings no longer resolved b/c cisco is dumb  (Read 494 times)

I tried going to 127.0.0.1 in chrome, but that didn't work, and it's the only way I can think of to do it
if it matters, it's a Cisco Valet plus

nevermind I found the software for it
apparently I searched for the wrong thing earlier

fff nevermind
that software is for connecting new computers
gd

I'm going to try the things now

Enter ipconfig /all in command prompt and look for "Default Gateway". Go to the value of that in a web browser.

it's usually 192.168.0.1 by default

what king said didn't work, but the default gateway entry in the command prompt was 192.168.1.1 and that worked
thank you

Why do routers need to have software installed on computers?

idk why don't you ask your self, mr. i have perfect internet and i can run over 30 servers at once.

ffffffff
I did a factory reset, and now I can't access the settings without using the software to set it up first
but the software isn't working

I think we'll just get a new router or something
something not cisco
because this router is also having this problem
and it pisses me off because almost twice a day I get disconnected from a game I'm playing or something
