Author Topic: How do I make the brick window bigger?  (Read 1252 times)

I am having a problem with the brick window. I have a number of addons and I can't find the tab for my spacemods or JVS stuff and only find the RPG mod stuff instead. Is there possibly a way to make the brick window bigger?

Oh! I know how to fix this!

So those little tabs on the top are the different types of bricks, right? And you click on one to view it's contents. If you have a lot of add-ons, then you might have a lot of tabs, perhaps so many that you can't actually see the tab of the section you want. This is your problem

To fix it, simply click on a tab and press the 'tab' key on your keyboard. This will make it so you have selected the next tab after the one you had clicked before.

So click on the last tab you can see, and click the 'tab' key. You will be taken to the next tab, the one that, in this case, you cannot see right now. Now you can view it's contents. Then click 'tab' again, and you will go on to the next one etc.

Hope this helps!

not really a fix, but good job.
this is how I do it, but I've heard of people using this add-on, but I think they're just lazy: http://forum.returntoblockland.com/dlm/viewFile.php?id=53

There's a difference between preferring convenience and being lazy.

i find it far faster to hit tab a couple times, and i tend to remember how many tabs it takes to get to a certain tab

Just keep pressing tab until you get to the tab you want.

And then you're a user who joins other peoples' servers on a daily basis.

But really, imagine it this way:

Web browsers didn't have a scrollbar and the only way to scroll would be pressing tab till you get to the next link, being unable to see the link itself, but seeing what page it brings you to.

Also:

Something going off the interface by default is NOT NORMAL.

There is an alternative way if you download Tab Shifting Brick Selector from RTB.
