Author Topic: Holy stuff I accidentally burnt part of my house  (Read 1294 times)

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST!

So after dinner, my younger sister and I were roasting marshmellows on our deck. Some of them fall into the fire and exploded, so we had a few laughs. Anyway, we both went inside 15 minutes later but I went to get another marshmallow. As I was opening the sliding glass door to get back outside to the deck, I noticed a small thick block of plywood lying against the wall of our house. Not knowing what it was, I picked it up, walked past the grill and placed it on our table, or so I thought because when I went inside, it wasn't there. I accidentally asked where it went out loud, and my dad asked what I was talking about. So I told and he flipped stuff. He frantically scrambled outside and there it was: A crisp piece of burnt plywood. I had unintentionally dropped the wood into the fire on my way to the table, completely unaware that happened. He let me in on what I had done: I burnt a piece of our house. Lemme explain: There is a small gap in between the bottom of the sliding door and the bottom of the deck wall outside. That block was meant to be there to cover it up. My dad is calm now but stuff!

if you're a pyro then you're insane

Oh god, don't do this anymore.
Or you'll be seeing pyroland.

Good job.
I bet no one cared about that part of the house.

The way my dad reacted?!

Did your house died?

Seek medical treatment immediately, apply cold water.

topic is very misleading, I came expecting to here that there was like a whole room of your house that was burned not a stuffty little piece of wood.

also what kind of marshmallows explode? any marshmallow I've dropped in a fire just melt and burn

I'm not stupid. What happened was completely unintentional.

Am I the only one who can't understand what the forget happened in the story? It's worded so confusingly that I've read it like 8 times and I still barely have a grasp on anything that went down.
