Uh, so I suppose that means that Germans are incapable of making a new operating system or something?
People act like so much of this stuff is permanent.
Technology changes so much every year, whatever patents these guys hold will be obsolete some day, to likely whatever has to be made as an alternative.
If motorola wants to shoot themselves in the foot with bad press its up to them.
