Maybe, or maybe she just wanted new furniture, or to sell it.  Nobody needs to know it's from a farmhouse. 
But yeah, as Snno has become an important character, you should not go to the city like I suggested before.

Now that her arm healed, you could probably let her drive the truck. So instead of just going to the city, you're gonna need to ask to be taken there.

I didn't really want to be a co-author.  I just wanted to keep it from dying in a way that also kept everyone from being bored. 
Otherwise you'd come back and I would have like a dodeca-post.

You can create a parallel story line with some new characters if you like.  Something like in a different location or the same places just hours or days earlier.
