And then he'd get murdered, and you might as well be killing him yourself. Try not to kill him, see if maybe anybody there can help him, perhaps then he'd be grateful.
If not then you could always kill him.

"They're already dead. And they are not people. Sick twisted entities that possess the bodies of peoples loved ones and transform them into a predator. What do you think these things eat? Have you seen their teeth? They will overrun us, 100 to 1. And we will be extinct."

You noticed the Mercenary was bleeding out terribly by the pool of blood appearing underneath him. You realized there was a steel rod in his back.

You turned around and shouted at the surrounding buildings and watching the windows.

"Anybody! Does anyone have medical help! Someone?!"

An array of hissing emanated from the walls.

"Let him die"

Apparently what these guys do is severe. What makes you think they would help the likes of him?

"You're not helping his opinion. You want to show that you aren't a bunch of crazy murderous psychopaths? A crazy murderous psychopath wouldn't help a man like him. They'd leave him to die. Don't let this poor soul die for his past sins, give him a second chance!"

He only kills because he has been brainwashed into believing you're a pack of monsters, and acting all callous and uncaring isn't going to change his mind. If you want these sort of attacks to stop, you need to start convincing them that you aren't.

A lone figured emerged from the nearest building. Sphere approached. His strangely sharp claws at his sides. He was expressionless and stopped part way, leaving a distance between you and him.





"You want us to help this man?"

Sphere knelt down and looked him over. He reached out his claw and pierced his armor. At first you thought he was killing him, but then you noticed something strange. A dark cloud seeped out from under his armor and began to consume it. It flaked away like fish scales, leaving no trace of his former self. Instead a mutant emerged from underneath the armor. Sphere withdrew his claw and without a word, walked back towards the building.
