Hey guys. Little update. I know some of you who keep up with the story have been wondering why I've locked this. I unlocked this for discussion of course. the reason It's been on the down low is because I'm preparing for a very large update and I would request some patience as I have to be on hold for about a week. If I'm lucky It will happen sooner. But in the meantime I'll be working on the next big piece. Also SnnoFall will be running parallel with this story at a certain point and I'll be working at churning out two updates at a time if I can manage.

The trip was long and you were beginning to wish that the land wasn't such a FLATLAND. But that's ok, the truck is out of gas, now you have to go on foot. What a wonderful change-up.


"My audio receptors are receiving interference."


"I hear it too. What is that noise."


"It sounds like a sweeper. We should probably go off path and try to go around."

Investigate or take the Captains word for it?

You, Snno, and the Captain walk a good distance before continuing forward on foot. The rumbles from the sweeper off in the distance were loud and you could hear screaming.


"There is screaming! Why?"


"Sweepers are the reason the land outside the city is almost devoid of life. They have a limited radius but anywhere they can reach they just kill everything. Some towns they are not authorized to engage. Anything humanoid is what it searches for. Primarily mutants. I don't think there is much you could probably do for them now."

The screaming continued and transformed into desperate cries for help or disgusting gurgling noises. The rumbles stopped.

Mechanical noises are making it's way towards your group, you could hear each servo now as it drew nearer.

A massive amount of grassland stretches out before you. There are no rocks or trees to hide behind. The machine finally steps out over the hill and spots you.



A Booming automated voice fills the air



"HUMANOIDS DETECTED. CREATING ENERGY FIELD."

"ROBOT SYSTEMS. READY. HUMANOID DETECTION GRID ACTIVE. POWERING UP WEAPON SYSTEMS."

besides if we fight we know he wont just kill the main character anyways so it leads to cool badass explosions and maybe new power stuff????
