Author Topic: Server Hosting Problems  (Read 1675 times)

Firefox.
It was probably because I had 123457876543 windows open to figure out how to fix my server.
Plus it was very late and I was impatient.
Forwarding port attempt 1/5 failed.
Trying again.

2/5 failed.
I don't understand.
My router is a wire-2 3800HGV-B
I'm on Port Forwarding tutorials for the router, for blockland.
I went through all the steps exactly.
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/2wire/3800HGV-B/Blockland.htm
But it's out of date.
The only one that confused me was Entry #2
Because the same thing doesn't come up.
However, I followed it's instructions.
No luck.

Found updated images, let's hope attempt 3/5 works.

Well that didn't help at all.
 :panda:

Does blockland require both TCP and UDP things?
I've tried both the previous 4 times.
I'll try them separately now.

4/5
I tried TCP and UDP separately, with no luck.

5/5
Perhaps I should hit [SAVE] at the bottom of the screen?

It didn't work.
-.-
How do you host with hamachi on blockland?
Can only the people that have your hamachi join your blockland server?

Tried getting a static IP.
Using google's dns.
They're sending challenge requests, but it's timing out.
What's going on here?

Reverted back to UPnP, all the settings are now the same as before I posted this topic.

Would it be possible to set up two routers in one house? I can't take my roommate's router down.
I have another router, though it's packed away, I'm not exactly sure what kind it is, but I think it's Linksys.
