Author Topic: Riding RollerCoasters  (Read 2589 times)

I'm going to meet my girl and a friend of hers at Cedar Point in September. Now I know for a fact that she wants me to ride the 'Dragster' with her, but I really really really don't want to. I've even told her no a hundred times over and have made it very clear that she would have to blow me on the coaster for me to go; and given the saftey methods of the 'Dragster': that won't be happening. lol

Discuss rollercoaster fears and awesome/scary experiences with thrill rides.

Roller coaster's aren't scary. Grow some chest hair and ride one.
really those guys who check all the safety stuff may look like they don't care but they know what they're doing

I have chest hair though, I don't really care for it. I already have to twist my own nuts just to go down a big ass water slide in an inner-tube. :/

Well, I recently went on Six Flag's biggest roller coaster, the Goliath (at least, at the Georgia one), while I had the biggest fear of roller coasters... Never again..

Due to my experience with RCT3, all rollercoasters will end with death, or launched at 500 mph on to a path with over 300 people on it.

Carowinds Intimidator four times straight, in the rain for two. Nighthawk twice within an hour.

Been there too, it was awesome
Its great and all.. But I almost blacked out..

I rode a kid rollercoaster once when I was 9.
loving: Metal.

I've been contemplating going on the coaster with her, but there's always another way to impress...if you want to call riding a roller coaster impressive.

Roller Coasters are really boring for me but I understand some people just dont care for them.
My friend says she just doesnt like the feel of them in general, idk if shes just a wimp or if they actually make her sick :3
Anyway, just go on it or tell your girlfriend you dont want to go on it and if she tries to force you tell her to forget off

Pretty much, either one would make any 'real girl' respect you more. :p

Rollercoasters bore me so I don't like amusement parks I'm kind of the opposite of people scared of them. I go on the "scariest" stuff at six flags(oh big whoop a .0001% chance to die if the coaster malfunctions how terrifying) and sit in line for 3 hours and then just ride it without even a small rush or feeling of danger.

Top Thrill Dragster is fun as hell. You should seriously give it a go. Millennium Force is pretty cool if you aren't down for dragster.

Oh jesus forget, I was thinking of an entirely different coaster. Yeah forget that stuff, I'll jerk off for the rest of my life if that's what it means. lol

For some reason I thought this was the one she was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Si_xOp_crc

Seriously though, rollercoasters are perfectly safe, only fear is that some can make you black out.
