outlines are pretty great, i hate it how i often have to change the color of the sky because some character's clothes mix with it and therefore seems invisible.

i just downloaded a plugin that has a "drop shadow" effect and it's AWESOME.

Spears and Polearms should fit in the same category if axes and greatswords do.

Although archery might be useful, considering some character submissions actually use melee weapons.

I based that scroll off of weight. War Axes and Greatswords require alot of metal, where spears and pole arms do not.

Spears are on a pole. There is a scroll for pole weapons.

Menen should also get .agif and .apng plugins for Paint.NET, but DON'T USE .APNG. Some browsers cannot show .apng animations.
Firefox and Opera can, and Chrome with the .apng plugin.

that why you use different pallets for characters and backgrounds
or better yet dont let any random person make the character sprites like you did in your adventure
