I am literally the ONLY one who uses Aseprite for sprites ;c
Go check for possible rifts between the real world and the dream world that could have summoned creatures to kidnap Lucas.
If none are found/are impossible to find this early into the adventure, ask around people around the town if they have seen Lucas.

Name: Mysterious Monk (To be simply called "Monk" or perhaps some nickname if association is made with Menen)

Race: Human
Skills: Fire Blast - Shoots a bolt of fire out of the Fire Staff.
Weapon: Fire Staff - Used to shoot the Fire Blast
Any other sprites: (Seperated sprites)
Side: Good
Backstory: This strange monk had never appeared in town until not too long after Menen arrived...
Some townspeople think he may be from an alternate dimension, but that's a bit ambiguous.
He's probably just... not from here.
If the Monk becomes an important character then I don't care if he starts with with staff or finds it later, but he would start out with magic points.

BACKSTORY: Raised in a poor farm house, Hugh always wanted to be a rich man and live large. But that never seemed possible until a mysterious man came to town and sold him a little doll that would help him achieve his wildest dreams. Then through a series of shady events involving copious amounts of voodoo magic bull honky, he climbed his way up the ladder of fortune and found himself at the top being the richest guy in the land. He now owns a company called Kurtburt and Co. making a killing off the local weapons businesses, food businesses, and whatever other businesses that even tried to compete with his company. Now, with an extensive voodoo collection, he lives however the heck he wants and always gets his way. That is until Menen shows up...

Back story:Scott Swiffer grew up in an extremely dirty home, with extremely dirty parents with extremely dirty jobs. He also had 3 only partially dirty sisters. This naturally dirty environment developed a sort of OCD tendency as well as an unnatural skill to be able to clean anything and make it look nice. Now he lives in a very clean clearing in the woods, in a very clean cabin, where he regularly cleans the area surrounding his house. (Don't ask me how he manages to clean the dirt, he just does) He also takes up a job as a freelance janitor wherever some one needs it.

EDIT: Decided it would be best for scott to have a rag mop as well.
