Author Topic: Whats wrong with my Anti aliasing?  (Read 1372 times)

This seems to only happen with Blockland, I have downloaded Squiddey's (whatever his name is) texturepack mainly so that I do not see these ugly and annoying lines. I have an Nvidia GTX 550 TI.

Is this normal for Blockland to look like? I have tried changing settings in the nvidia control panel but I get the same results,

Anyone else have any other ideas?

I thought that those were for Minecraft.

Yes, that's what Blockland looks like. DIRP!

You have set the launcher to antialias, not the program itself I think. You want C:\Users\NAME\Documents\Blockland\Blockland.exe

As for the texture pack you either need to read-only the files or install the support file for other textures (I forget who made it).

I got the texture pack already, but if the server host does not have the texture pack, meaning they have the default then I see default as well.

I tried that and when I load Pecon7 I get the same problem, I think its Blockland that does that, im not sure though.

Textures are server-sided, you do always see the ones of the server

I know, it wasn't that hard to figure out....

Squideey's texture pack does not fix aliasing, it fixes the brick textures "glowing" in the dark.

those aren't the lines Squideey was talking about lol

also, in the second image, you don't have "AA - Transparency" on
which, I would assume, is a very important part, considering how important it is for images with AA
at zenloth said, it may also be a problem that the settings you are showing are for the launcher, not the actual game
which may or may not affect it; I'm not sure, because I don't have any experience with good GPUs, or with exactly how the game works

Exactly why I got it, it also fixes the white lines I see everywhere on bricks.

why don't you reply to someone who's trying to help you with your problem

Because nobody is. Its probably something that can't be fixed.

What lines? The ones on the edges of shapes? That is completely normal, and has to do with TGE not Blockland.

PROTIP: "My Documents > Blockland > Blockland.exe" is what you apply the settings to
Also, you may wish to include Supersampling for your Transparency mode

you're either trolling or just completely ignoring all helpful posts
