Viacom is a stuffty company imo. Comedy Central is full of unfunny plebs, Nickelodeon has turned into a steaming pile of unfunny, and MTV is just a spawning ground for the scum of the Earth. I think I'll be better off without any of these channels.

i left directv when this very issue happened with the g4 channel. they dropped em when they couldnt renew a contract

im with comcast now

But G4 isn't about video games anymore. Also Viacom is full Greedy corporate pirates that tried to kill youtube with claims that their stuff was being stolen by Youtubers when at the same time their Spike Website had stuff stolen off of Youtube. To be honest though I am kind of happy because now I don't have to deal with lame sitcoms like iCarly or Victorious. Also glad to see that music channel that doesn't even have music and would rather show pregnant 16 year olds.

comcast already has a similar contract with viacom.

directv is kinda behind the times with an outdated contract. viacom is simply catching up on that end.

and they can easily afford to demand what they want, because directv couldnt hold onto customers if they lose those vital 26 channels.
