I like the idea of VoIP, but I don't think Baddy would be willing to add it. The types of people that would be using VoIP for core-game reasons (e.g. collaborative building) will be in clans and using other software anyways.

It's not hard to send a voice call to someone over skype/steam/xfire/msn/whatever and have one of those (i know steam does) group chats

Really, if you want to ingame chat without hastle, use xfire or steam like everyone else. Both have ingame overlays (albiet xfire's is a bit more lovey, in my opinion) that help you manage messaging and stuff.

Or if you don't want to get either, just use skype / teamspeak / any other VoIP program.

What would be nice is a different Application made by Badspot or Ephialtes. It would launch with Blockland and work a lot like Steam. There would be an overlay in Blockland that controls the application remotely, essentially, a fake Steam Overlay.

RTB5 anyone?

Xfire has an ingame overlay, thats, in my opinion, better than steam's.
