Horse can't walk:
Shoot that bastard
Human can't walk:
Wheelchair, no biggie.
Fine we'll just spend a lot of money on an expensive wheelchair for a Horse dying slowly of who knows what so it can "scoot around and frolic in the fields" as it always did.

Your grandma is dying and your grieving over a horse.

i dont know about you, but i dont refer to my grandma as "he"

After it dies, eat it.

Except a human can still live normally and doesn't have to suffer constantly when put in a wheelchair.

Horses are supposed to be wild and running and doing stuff like that, if they can't do that, they have absolutely nothing to live for. Humans can still make a living and such, their lives don't revolve around running and frolicking in the fields.

No, no, it seems to be a much better solution to murder it and waste the precious gift of life because of a disability.

Umm, how many times have you seen a horse be given a chance to do something else?

dog has cancer tumor
kill it

human has cancer tumor
9 months of chemotherapy and treatment

Horses are silly animals.

There isn't much they can recover from.

You do realize that a horse not being able to walk is extremely painful? Why would you put the horse through that until it dies in a pool of its own misery instead of ending its suffering right there and then? And the hell do you mean, "hasn't been given a chance"? What do you want, a horse to become an accountant? Horses are used to pull plows, pull buggys, horse races, pets, there are wild horses and tamed horses, there are horses who can sprint and horses who can go long distances. What op is doing is right, the horse is old, suffering and not being able to enjoy anything it had in the past, anyone who thinks he should keep the horse alive just because "oh its immoral to take a life"  is way worse then they think the other guy is.

That's so loving funny that you're defending the wheelchair idea.

God, if you put a horse in a wheelchair, I'd report you to animal control dude.  Seriously.

I love animals, but that's just not right.  The horse is basically dead.  Let it be put to sleep rather than having it fall down, and slowly die... painfully...

Your grandma is dying and your grieving over a horse.

What? Where did I say my grandma is dying?

Also, my grandma texted me 10 minutes ago, she said "He's gone."

I'm gonna see if I can find some pictures I had from the fair of him and hang them up somewhere in my house. It's too bad I'll never be able to see him again, I really did love him :(

I hate horses. I'll do it. I'm also insensitive and in-empathic.

You never see him anymore, I don't get why you are so devastated

It's the fact that you now know that you're going to never see them again. It doesn't matter how often you saw them beforehand if you care about them enough.

Anyway, it was probably for the best if it could hardly walk. It's better off dead in that case. No sense in forcing it to suffer.

edit:

Human can't walk:
Wheelchair, no biggie.
The difference being that humans can actually function properly without the ability to walk with some aid.
A horse literally has absolutely no other way to move around. The humane thing to do is to shoot it.

this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
What do you think that if we gave a horse a wheel chair it would go get a job?
