The actual story:

The Hunger Games is about the punishment of the districts in Panem. The districts turned against the Capitol and they lost, District 13 was destroyed, and the remaining districts are punished with The Hunger Games. There are 12 districts. 24 Tributes aged from 12 - 18 will be chosen to fight in a super-arena and also to survive. There are 2 tributes chosen for the games. 1 is a girl, and the other is a boy.

What is this actually about:

I've been making these hunger games servers all the time (well, maybe not all the time.  ) and people like it a lot. I couldn't believe how many people actually joined my server! This used to take place in Blocko Forest (made by GSF Ghost) in v2, but now in v3, it is now just made at slate, I can really control the place with slate, and, this will still be able to go to v21 if this doesn't update to v4.

Versions

v1: Crappy world with little weapons and very horrible.
v2: Better world at Blocko Forest (GSF Ghost's), with big enough arena, weapons, Cornucopia, a border, and hidden items.
v3: W.I.P. Working on it at slate, more weapons, more detail (I hope), trying to add Day and Night cycle, adding craftable resource/mechanisms, and a larger world like a actual hunger games. (more ideas being added.)

Most hunger games maps have OP weapons, are poorly built, have a ton of people screaming "KILL *name*" and so on.
Try not to fit those.

I personally don't like the hunger game idea, maybe that's just because every hunger game server I've been too was lazily slapped together garbage. Hopefully this'll be better.

Everyone is skeptical about this because the only real good Hunger Games rendition out of the woodworks has been Minecraft, which has been the only one. From your one picture, one can already assume something isn't right. The book and movie can only offer so much to base off of, and building forests and dynamic terrain isn't one for blockland.
