Author Topic: AirInstrumentHUD - Flying a plane is now 99.99% easier.  (Read 2659 times)

Makes it easier to fly planes on blockland. It's only planned but since I have the tendency to give up on projects and I am lazy, I might not get it done.

The modes are:
Excessive descent rate ("SINK RATE" "PULL UP") Sort of easy
Excessive terrain closure rate ("TERRAIN" "PULL UP") A little bit hard, might get a pro to help.
Altitude loss after take off or with a high power setting ("DON'T SINK") Sort of easy
Unsafe terrain clearance ("TOO LOW – TERRAIN" "TOO LOW – GEAR" "TOO LOW – FLAPS") A little bit hard, might get a pro to help.
Excessive deviation below glideslope ("GLIDESLOPE")  Sort of easy
Excessively steep bank angle ("BANK ANGLE") Easy
Windshear protection ("WINDSHEAR") Wind in Torque doesn't affect flying vehicles(?)

Real HUD:

Sounds will come from here because Blockland doesn't have enough GPWS sounds. http://www.simviation.com/fssounds.htm

I might or might not put in GPWS

Oh, this is lovely. It fits in perfectly with my love of aviation.

Please do finish!

Dunno if whatever a GPWS is has a speedometer or something, but is one going to be included?

Thanks for explaining what it is.

This has a speedometer, an altimeter, and a rotation meter that measures in Euler angles.

tt;du (too technical, don't understand): This shows the aircraft's speed, altitude from terrain, actual altitude, and rotation.

Later on, I will add the actual GPWS stuff.

I figured out how to get the height of a vehicle with raycasts. Now to do the other stuff.

Thanks for explaining what it is.
You do know this was sarcasm right?

I did, but I replied to Kiwibear, not you.

OK I got the HUD done!!!!!

what about the other 00.01%
i am that 00.01%

I love the huge difference between the 2 HUDs lol
