I just spend $600 on a new Laptop and everything seemed good, I checked to see if I could run GTA:IV and everything checked out, except my Dedicated Video RAM. My old $300 piece of stuff had more DVR than that. Anyway to increase it? Because according to my computer I have 1696 MB of total graphics memory.

It's a laptop with an integrated Intel GPU. You could of gotten a great desktop that can run GTA at a solid 60 for that much.

This is pretty much the entire topic. To run a game like Saints Row 3/GTA on high with 60 fps, you need a 1k computer at least.

I got a refurb Latitude D610 (I think) for about $220 and used it to play SS13, and then I smashed it after I exiled off of SS13 in a rage.

No, I won't play SS13 again to see a bunch of stuffforget admins humiliate me over port-a-brigging a prisoner for a few minutes to grab his items. I know it was extremely stupid and bad but I should've been told to let the prisoner out.

Don't worry, I took the hard drive out and it only had 1GB RAM. Also, it ran blockland horribly (lagged after a few thousand bricks).

Alright, I'm gonna return it tomorrow for a refund then I'm gonna get a different one with a decent amount of dedicated video ram

refurb Latitude D610 (I think) for about $220

You got ripped off by $220, even a brand new Latitude D610 blows richard and is worth maybe $20.  I used to be forced to play Blockland on a D610 and even with 1.25GB of RAM it was atrocious.
