Author Topic: My Google Chrome's Bugged - Audio only goes to the right side of my headset  (Read 1328 times)

chrome is the only process with this problem, and i'm pretty sure it's chrome's fault. not sure if this is an update or some stuff where google broke their own bullstuff, because apparently everyone breaks their own program every once in a while.

i've tried:
- resetting my computer
- re-installing chrome
- looking through my audio settings
- chrome doesn't have its own audio settings because ???
- killing myself

anyone else having this problem?

edit: little more about the problem
- it started yesterday, so i've had this problem and sent a ticket to chrome's monkeys who shove carrotes up their butts and get smarter
- CHROME IS THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. other programs such as spotify and skype work perfectly fine.

you've only tried listening to audio with chrome? you know for sure it's not your headphones?

it is most likely because not everything is mono. so all the sound comes out of one side if it is stereo.

wouldn't it be backwards?

It could be the flash plugin for chrome.

Use your speakers. If you have a modern monitor, you're most likely to have inset ones.

i don't have speakers and would never use speakers. i'm pretty sure even if i had speakers, it'd only go to whichever one is set to be the right speaker.

Then get a new computer. This is obviously to do with your hardware being incompatible with Chrome in some way or another.

youtube sound is messed up, head-piece on right side is louder than the left.

Correction:

7.1 sound is messed up on youtube.
found someone with the same problem.

not sure what he means by 7.1, though.

I'm experiencing it too, having outdated hardware doesn't mean stuff, chrome runs fine with a USB drive (functioning as hard drive) and a P3 (700MHz)
