Author Topic: Can anyone suggest me free alternatives to fraps that can record decently?  (Read 2218 times)

What the title says, I wanted to use bandicam but it had the 10 minute limit.
What alternatives are there that will let me record as long as i want and have a small file size and not look complete stuff? (small file size is optional)

The program you're asking for doesn't exist.

Is there one with a 10 minute limit, because I don't mind that as long as I can record.
Camstudio
But that sucks for recording gameplay.

i was gonna say bandicam, but
why dont you use livestream and get the video file if thats possible

Camstudio

The last time I used Camstudio the quality paralleled Trymo's avatar.

Nah, we just share similar dilemmas.

FRAPS is literally the only quality screen recorder.

great quality, stuff mic.
if this were possible i'd have a dark cloud 2 lets play started.
and when i say stuff mic, i mean good quality and stuffty record volume with no way to change it.

My sis found BB Flashback Express Player, dunno if it is even a thing

doesn't sound in the slightest bit a game recorder.
