Whenever I host a server, this is exactly what I do. People tend to complain, but it's for their protection (so they don't look like a complete moron.)

I think the issue with the whole hacking thing is that hacking isn't even defined. What does it mean to hack blockland? Get admin? Run arbitrary commands on the server? Crash it? Steal keys? Delete files off the computer?

For some definition of hacking you can hack Blockland. This is why people should just stop using the word hack and instead say what they actually mean.

I like to think of it as doing something outside of the client's range, assuming they have no passwords to anything not belonging to them.
